BATTAMBANG: More than 100 Cambodian workers were arrested and returned to Cambodia by the Thai authorities through the O'Anlok border checkpoint in O'Anlok village, Ta Sen commune, Kamrieng district.

On Thursday morning, Border Police Force No. 819 said 147 workers were sent back to Cambodia by the Thai side (including 57 women and three children). They were ordered by the Cambodian authorities to cooperate with the medical team to return to Cambodia and under go testing for Covid-19. Through this testing, three positive cases were found, including one girl and one child.

Separately, 24 workers (including nine women and five children) were sent to the Kilo 9 quarantine center, Sampov Loun district, Battambang province. Doctors there vaccinated 16 people (between the ages of 5 to 18), including 10 women, who were then allowed to return to their respective hometowns.
